Annual Scholarship
2008 CHANGES
. . . For ACEOA Associate
Scholarships (non-member)
1. Candidates must submit a letter of need to be reviewed by the board of
directors.
2. Candidate must be pursuing a wildlife, conservation, environmental or law
enforcement degree.
. . . For ACEOA Member Scholarships
1. Officer or family members are eligible.
2. Officer must be an ACEOA member in good standing.
3. Candidate must submit a letter of need.
4. Candidate is only eligible every other year.
General Rules for All Scholarships
1. The board of directors and state officers will vote based on need for both
scholarships.
2. Checks will be issued when student has proof of enrollment for the fall
semester or quarter. (after September)
3. Scholarships have been increased from $500.00 to $1000.00 each.
All applications must be submitted to the Executive Director by August 15 of each year. Please send a 3x5 note card with the applicant’s name, address and telephone number. Please indicate if it is an application for a Member or Associate Scholarship and the course of study.

OUTDOOR
WOMEN UNLIMITED is an organization dedicated to providing women and families
with the education and the excitement of the outdoor experience through teaching
outdoor life skills, sharing knowledge of our natural resources, while building
self esteem, strengthening individual character, and promoting self-reliance in
a safe and profession environment.
Concerns of Police Survivors,
Inc. (C.O.P.S.)
C.O.P.S., Inc. provides
resources and assists in the rebuilding of the lives of surviving families
of law enforcement officers killed in the line of duty as determined by Federal
criteria. Furthermore, COPS provides training to enforcement agencies on
survivor victimization issues and educates the public of the need to support the
law enforcement profession and its survivors.
