A CEO in the Marine Police Division is responsible for patrolling waterways year round to monitor public safety on Alabama’s waterways. These responsibilities are met by enforcing boating laws, hunting and fishing laws, investigating boating and drowning accidents, and conducting boating safety education programs. These officers are also skilled in search and rescue along with many other law enforcement activities.
